BE CAREFUL WHEN IN JOHOR BAHRU (JB)

Peeps, Im sure many of you have heard of many negative and scary news
about the mishaps Singaporeans have encountered in JB
Cases such as the Motorcyle robber gang are not new to us
Just 3 months back, my sister's parent-in-laws have encountered this personally.
After their dinner at Taman Sentosa around 8pm
The old couple with my niece are on the way back to their vehicle
the grandmum was carrying a slingbag and walking behind alone
while my niece and her grandpa was right infront.
Suddenly, a motorcycle passed by and the pillion rider grabbed her slingbag
Causing her to fell frontward and facedown.
It happen in split seconds, too fast for them to react
the bag was gone together with some cash (RM$4,600), PSP and the vehicle security card
The poor lady suffered bruises, cuts and swells on her face and arms
the kid itself although has no physical injuries, but was traumastised by this incident.
She would freak out and hide if she see any malay male now.
All these crimes are actually committed by migrants from the suburbs of malaysia
or foreigners.
Unfortunately, the JB police force are not unable to stop these crimes
and even the locals are living in fear!
Peitions have been put up by the residents of Taman Sentosa
But I doubt there was any improvement!
BUT, in recent months , something more scarier have started...
Even the locals themselves are being targeted and victimised.
This was being relate by my relatives in malaysia!
If you have seen any booth/pushcarts in the shopping mall selling stuffs
such as perfumes, fragances, essential oils etc
Please do avoid and be alert!!
This is part of the tactics to robbed you (sorry to those who are geninue sellers)
and they work in groups!
1st -> Guy #1 will promote their merchandise to potential targets
esp. those alone/singles
2nd-> He will then urge targets to sniff out the various fragances available
3rd-> Unknowingly, Targets will start to try out various fragances
as most are on promo
4th-> It doesnt matter if targets eventually did made any purchases
as these frangances are duped!
5th-> As targets move away from the booth, their partner Guy #2 will start to follow behind
6th-> Mins later, the 'magic potion' start to work their magic!
Target will start to feel drowsy and sick
Guy #2 will pretend to help target either to their vehicle at the carpark or somewhere quiet.
7th-> while they are out of sight from the crowd,
Target at this time will start to lose their concious
Guy#2 will then robbed all belongings , including card keys and house keys
Often, Victims are found unconcious at some quiet spots of the shopping malls esp carparks
Not only losed their cash and wallets, vehicles are no where to be found.
Therefore, to all who are travelling to JB.
Please take special note!

Yeah,no doubt that we must dress casually..
But I have also heard of true life account that the victim was killed in the process, as the robber was not satisfied with what he has!!
